Description

Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to renovate aircraft maintenance hangar, Dock 1, located on Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. Work includes but not limited to, renovation of interior systems (walls, floors, ceilings, doors, electrical system, HVAC sytem, and plumbing system). Work also includes replacement of exterior siding, the addition of brick wainscot, installation of new exterior windows, installation of a new fire protection system and repair of aircraft doors. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and will have a 365 day construction period. All responsible bidders must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The solicitation will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) or or about 24 July 2002 with a bid opening date of 27 August 2002 and can be accessed at www.eps.gov. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation nor planholders list. (SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS MAY OBTAIN PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION PACKAGE VIA WRITTEN REQUEST PURSUANT TO FAR 19.202-4(d)). Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information, and for downloading their own copies.
