Description
NA The services of a Project Scheduler are required to analyze construction contract schedules and are to be performed during normal eight-hour shifts, 5 days per week, at the McAlpine Resident Office located in Louisville, KY. Primary work effort will be as sociated with the construction of the new 1200’ lock, but may include effort on other civil works contracts administered by the McAlpine Resident Office. The Project Scheduler shall have a minimum of 5 years experience in the preparation and/or analysis o f Network Analysis Systems (NAS) for lock construction in a marine environment to include installation/placement of reinforcing steel and mass concrete and significant electrical and mechanical systems. The Project Scheduler must be proficient in the use of the latest version of Primavera P3 software. This is a Request for Proposal utilizing the methods of FAR Part 15.101-2 where award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. Offerors will be evaluated on a go/no go basis on the following t echnical basis: (1) Company Experience (2) Individual Experience and (3) Performance. The contract period will be approximately 1,521 days. This solicitation will be available approximately 24 July 2002 and will have a 30 day bidding period. There will be no charge for the solicitation package as it will be available by Web only. Interested offerors MUST register at the Louisville District Homepage at http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/ebs in order to be notified of possible amendments to the solicitation. Any subsequent amendments to this particular solicitation may be downloadable from this same site. The estimated value is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this project. The web address for the Army Single Face to Industry site is http://acquisition.army.mil/default.htm.
