- Description
- The Officer in Charge requires all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, safety and management necessary to provide annual maintenance service of the Fire Protection/Warning Systems at the Fleet Combat Training Center, Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, Virginia. This procurement will result in the award of a firm fixed price, indefinite quantity type contract, for preventative maintenance, inspection, operational testing, emergency, urgent and routine service call work, and repair work. The contract term is for a period of one (1) year. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for an additional four (4) twelve month periods. The total contract shall not exceed 60 months. The North American Industry Classification Code is 561621 and the Size Standard is $9.0 This proposed procurement is set aside 100% for Small Business firms only. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) package will only be available via the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site. It is estimated that the Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted on E-Sol on or about December 1, 2001. All interested persons are encouraged to go to the E-Sol Web Site now to register as a Plan Holder for this solicitation. Registering now will ensure that you are notified via e-mail when the IFB is actually posted and may be viewed and/or downloaded. All contractors must register on E-Sol before downloading the IFB to ensure receipt of Amendments, Attachments/Drawings, and all other information issued regarding this requirement. million dollars. This procurement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis utilizing full and open competition. The date and time for a site visit will be identified when the solicitation document is issued. See Section L of the IFB. There will be only one site visit scheduled; no individual site visits will be held.
