Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to award on a sole source basis, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures a firm fixed price award to Seibel Systems, Inc, 12021 Sunset Hills Rd, #400, Reston, VA 20190 for licenses purchase for: Siebel?s Reports Server 7, SmartScript 7, Healthcare Providers and Facilities 7, Personal Lines Claims 7, Healthcare Service 7 Base, and software and support maintenance. The Medicare Stop Smoking Program is a research demonstration project testing smoking cessation interventions among Medicare beneficiaries in 7 states. The enrollment, survey administration, and claims processing functions for this research must be closely linked in order to accurately collect and analyze the data. The CMS contractor selected to perform these functions evaluated several software systems and found that Siebel software was the only source that would satisfy all of the needs of the project and the only source that would be completely compatible for integration with their existing systems. All responsible sources may submit capability statements in consideration to the Agency at the above address.
