Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive contract with EMA - Engineered Products Division for the manufacture of Packed Aeration Columns. A determination not to compete the proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1,(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. The individual packed columns will serve as a replacement for the existing aeration building. EMA- Engineered Products Division is the only known exclusive manufacturer of these specificic types of Packed Aeration Columns. This is not a request for Quotation nor a solicitation of offers. The determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within its discretion. If no responses are received within 10 days, the Government shall award a contract to EMA- Engineered Products Division.
