Description
The Air Armament Center, Lethal Strike Program Office intends to solicit and award a sole source modification under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems (LMIS), Orlando, Florida for technical support for the integration of the Joint-Air-To Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) on the B-52 Aircraft as part of the B-52 Avionics Mid-Life Improvement (AMI) Program. The effort includes technical support for general integration, mission planning, and ground/flight testing for a twelve-month period of performance. LMIS is the prime contractor for the JASSM and has the exclusive technical expertise of the missile to provide the support for this integration. The government intends to modify the existing JASSM contract to include this effort. For contractual issues, contact Ms. Renee Goodrich, Contract Specialist at (850) 882-4785 x3028, or Ms. Stacey Darhower, Contracting Officer, x3188. For technical issues, contact Mr. Vern McGraw, (850) 882-4785 x2005. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. Matters of a routine or administrative nature concerning this acquisition should not be addressed to the Ombudsman but rather to the Contracting Officer, or the Program Manager identified. For any other concerns, interested parties may call the AAC Ombudsman, Dr. Mario J. Caluda at (850) 882-5558 or email: Mario.caluda@eglin.af.mil. See numbered note 22.
