Description

The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to make two (2) changes to the technical specifications and extend the due date for quotes by one (1) week. The due date for quotes, July 18, 2002, is hereby extended until July 26, 2002. OFFERORS SHALL SUBMIT QUOTES NOT LATER THAN FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2002, AT 3:00 PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME. The following changes are hereby made to the Technical Specifications: Section 1 General, 1.3 General Description, Paragraph 4, the following change is hereby incorporated: Total floor space requirement for the entire machine and any auxiliary components shall not exceed 20 square meters. Appendix B Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Specifications, SOFTWARE APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE, Paragraph 1 is hereby changed to read as follows: A C-language, or equivalent, application programming interface (API) shall be available for extending the capabilities of the CNC through user-written programs. The API shall include functions for reading and writing CNC control data. Programs written using the API shall be executed in the CNC in real time. API functions shall include at least the ability to:? Offerors shall specify the programming interface language being supplied and its' capabilities in their quote.
