- Description
- Furnish all labor, material, equipment, and each and every item of expense for the construction of the Warehouse and Bulkhead Repairs for the National Marine Fisheries Service in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The construction of the Warehouse and Bulkhead Repairs generally includes but is not limited to the following: (1) General site demolition to include removal of pavement, three one story metal buildings, sand pit, chain-link fencing, and associated electrical/mechanical material; (2) Installation of a tied steel sheet pile dead man and steel sheet pile bulkhead with concrete cap beam; (3) Installation of fill material to bring the site to proper grading; (4) Installation of a timber pile supported slab and foundation for the warehouse; (5) Installation of Pre-Engineered Metal Building warehouse (106' - 10" x 77' 0") with steel frame concrete deck interior mezzanine; (6) Installation of access ramps, stairs, curb, and gutter on warehouse grounds (7) Installation of architectural finishes for office, bath, and laboratory spaces; (8) Installation of laboratory and kitchen equipment (blast freezer, freezer, necropsy table, sink, disposal cabinets, etc.); (9) Installation of plumbing associated with floor drains, bathrooms, and laboratory; (10) Installation of electrical/mechanical systems for the warehouse; (11) General site electrical utilities, lighting, and installation of a single turtleback on existing pier structure. Completion time for this project is 365 calendar days. This is a total small-business set-aside. NAICS code 233320 applies. Estimated construction cost if from $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Solicitation Number WC1330-02-RB-0008MLW with specifications and bid documents will be available on or about July 29, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of bid documents are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first served basis.
