- Description
- Provide all parts, tools, labor, materials, and supervision necessary to modify the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system at the Southeast Fisheries Science Center, National Marine Fisheries Service, Miami Laboratory, in Miami, FL. The work of Base Bid involves the replacement of the existing Fresh Air- Air Handling Unit, the replacement of supply air diffusers in areas cleary marked on drawings on floor to floor basis. The work of the Base Bid shall include all of the required equipment accessories, appurtances and material for a complete system in good working order. Bid Additives to the Base Bid are as follows: Bid additive numbers 1 through 3 consist of the repair of the fan coils, the addition of the exhaust fans in the Restroom on the first, second, and third floors - replacement of the supply and return diffusers with new, and the professional cleaning of the duct work where indicated on the drawings. Bid Additivie 4 consists of the demolition, disinfecting, cleaning and repair of the interior wall surfaces and ceiling where indicated on drawings, window weatherizing and caulking, and window flashing. Completion time for this project is 60 days from Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code is 334512. Specifications, drawings and quotation documents will be available on or about July 29, 2002.
