Description: The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) intends to negotiate only with Telonics Inc. of Mesa, Arizona for one ARGOS satellite S-Band Downlink Receiving System to be used to acquire Television Infrared Operational System (TIROS) High Resolution Picture Transmission(HRPT) data containing the TIROS Information Packet(TIP) to support National Data Buoy Center moored buoy position determination and drifting buoy data acquisition.
