- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation Number F6SVFF21690100. (iii) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7999 with a small business size standard of $6.0M. The associated NAICS code is 611620. (iv) This synopsis/solicitation contains one contract line item number (CLIN) CLIN 0001. Description is as follows: Contractor shall provide two qualified instructors and course materials for a four day clinic in aerobics conditioning and resistance training geared for Aerobics Instructors, Personal Trainers, customers, and Fitness Center staff of Pacific Air Forces. Clinics shall include Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Step Aerobics Instructor Certification Review and Examination, for individuals who register. Additionally, the Contractor shall administer the written exam for the AFAA Primary Aerobics Instructor Certification, where there are candidates who are in need of re-testing. Clinics will take place at each of four PACAF bases located in Guam (Andersen AFB), Korea (Osan AB), Japan (Yokota AB) and Okinawa (Kadena AB). Qualified instructors shall hold certification as Health/Fitness Instructors from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), or comparable national certification, and Are qualified by the AFAA to administer AFAA Step and Primary Aerobics Instructor Certification Reviews and exams, and have experience as Aerobics Instructor and Resistance Training educators. All proposals shall include this documentation of qualification. (v) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition without addenda. (vi) A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued based upon the proposal determined to provide the best value and price. Award will be based on an integrated assessment of product quality, past performance, and price. (vii) Offerors are required to complete a copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?Commercial Items, excluding paragraph (b) of the provision (IAW DFARS 212.301(b)(2)).
