- NA . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item(s) prepared in accordance with FAR12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurem ent is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. The solicitation number DABT67-02-T-0019 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and clauses are those in effec t through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. This Procurement is unrestricted, the SIC Code is 3651; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334510; the FSC 7450. The Directorate of Contracting intends to issue a firm f ixed price Purchase Order based on FAR13 for Portable Cassette Recorders Sony MDL: TCS-30D Pressman, or equal. Line 0001: 1300 ea Cassette Recorders (Sony MDL: TCS-30D Pressman), with Stereo Recording with supplied Mic, Stereo Playback with supplied head phones, double recording time, 350mW Output Power, clear Voice Enhancement built-in Monaural Mic, front Speakers, Stereo Mic Jack, One-Touch recording, LED Battery level indicator, auto shut-off, clue/review function, pause switch, stop pause release funct ion, hinged battery lid, DC-In jack, and hand strap attached (brand name or equal). Delivery term shall be FOB Destination, Presidio of Monterey, Monterey CA. 500 each shall be sent with in 10 days of receipt of order with the additional 800 shipped wit hin 30 days. The following Provisions and Clauses are incorporated and shall remain in full force in any resulting purchase order. FAR Part 52.212-1; Instruction to Offerors, Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms an d Conditions - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-3, Alt I Officers Representations and Certification-Commercial items FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. FAR 52.214-21, Descriptive Literature, DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Comm ercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated in accordance FAR 13.106-2 (b)(3)(i). Award will be made based on delivery schedule, past performance, and price. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote received without discussions. The Government will consider all quotes received by July 29, 2002.
