Description

Voyageurs National Park is requesting quotes for the construction of a 14' x 22' building with 7' side walls using round poles for studs, purloins and ridgepole. There are 14 barn sash windows located on three sides and one entry door. The roof will have a 6/12 pitch. All wood trim and windows will be primed and painted. The construction site is water access only and is located approximately four miles from the Woodenfrog boat access at the west side of Kabetogama Lake. Equipment use will be limited to transporting supplies and materials to within approximately 125 feet of the building site. The construction period may begin in September of 2002 and the project must be completed no later than June 30, 2003. Winter access is available depending on ice conditions. The NAICS code for this project is 233210. Procurement is being conducted as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The Solicitation package Q6820021813 will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov ON OR ABOUT 25, 2002. Offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the web site. There will be text and graphics attachments available. Davis Bacon Wage Rates will apply to this project.
