- Description
- The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB, Florida intends to award a contract to provide all personnel, equipment, supervision, and all other items and services necessary to perform Mess Attendant Services at Tyndall AFB, Florida. This requirement was previously posted under F5AB1220430200. Requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: serving and replenishing food, cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils, preparing vegetables, meats, and fruits for the self serve bars and breakfast omelet carts, making salads/sandwiches for flight kitchen operation, bussing tables in dining areas, performing cashier services, handling foods, supplies, and equipment, maintaining quality control, ensuring operator maintenance and minor repair of food service equipment, appliances, and furniture, and in the event of contingency, perform all required tasks to include cooking to ensure continued service. The contract period shall consists of one (1) basic year plus six (5) option years, beginning 1 Oct 02. The contract type will be firm-fixed price, 8A completive set-aside, under NAICS 72231 No paper copies will be issued. Firms desiring to receive a copy of this solicitation should go to www.eps.gov. This procurement is 100% 8A completive set aside business participation under NAICS code 72231 size standard $15.0 M. Only firms eligible may compete for award. A site visit will be conducted at Tyndall AFB, FL on 25 July 02. To be eligible for award of a Government contract you must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
