Description

NA Work includes but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials as well as performing all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for Exterior Paint and Repairs for Buildings #6 , 7 and 438. Provide surface pr eparation and complete exterior paint of buildings. Prime and paint all previously painted and new replacement items and exterior surfaces. Replace damaged window putty around glass panes and caulk. The paint currently on the buildings is considered to c ontain lead. The buildings will be occupied. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This will be a firm fixed-price lump sum type contract. Performance period is 90 calendars days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. T his acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. The size standard for a small business concern, including its affiliates, is average annual sales or receipts for the preceding three (3) fiscal years, not to exceed $12.0 million. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 235210. Bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr2000.com) to be eligible for award. IFB is to be issued on or about 31 July 02. Bidders are required to download the IFB and any associated amendments from www.tac.eustis.army.mil. However, the Drawings and Specifications cannot be obtained from the downloading process. In order to ensure receipt of the Drawings and Specif ications and in order to maintain an active Bidders Mailing List, bidders must request the Drawings and Specifications in writing. Requests may be faxed to Leo Burris at 913-684-1641and must also include the following: DABT19-02-B-0012, Taxpayer Identific ation Number, Business Address (Zip Code +4), and type of business concern?Woman-Owned Minority or Veteran-Owned, Small or Large Business, Hub-Zoned Certified.
