- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation of Purchase Request F13SVS21780600 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-05. (iv) This acquisition is set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 561621 and small business size standard is $10,500,000.00. (v & vi). Provide and install a CCTV system at Katmai Child Development Center, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska (including all necessary wiring, monitors, cameras, and software installation). System should provide adequate coverage of classrooms, front entrance, and playground. Exterior cameras will require heated mounting. Monitors should have no more than 2 rooms per screen. System should have a 90-day back up on the hard drive. Required CCTV items will include as a minimum: (1) KTA-12-34-CE-3-H1-C Outdoor Dome Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) Cameras or equal. Qty. 5. (2) CBR-KB3/J PTZ Controllers or equal. Qty. 2. (3) PTZ Camera Wall Mounts. Qty. 3. (4) KTP-24 PTZ Power Supply or equal. Qty. 3. (5) GBC-DS-950-4 Mini Dome Cameras or equal. Qty. 17. (6) KTP-24-8 Multiple Camera Supplies or equal. Qty. 2 (7) DMVRE-16T-160 160 Gig Digital Mux/Recorder or equal. Qty. 2. (8) CQD-442 Quad Video Splitter Multi Color or equal. Qty. 5. (9) Video Rack Kit. Qty. 2. (10) MVC-21S 21? Color Monitor or equal. Qty. 5. (11) Lot Coax Cable, Wiring and Connectors. Qty. 1. (12) Installation. (13) KTD-404 Keyboard with Joy Stick or equal. Qty. 2. (14) Exterior Camera Housing with Heaters and Mounts. A site visit will be conducted on 19 July 2002. This site visit is highly encouraged to ensure vendors are in full understanding of the requirement, and can ask questions for more clarification of this requirement. (ix) FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made based on low-price/technically acceptable offer. The Government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote received without discussions. (x) Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the quote. Offerors must also include a completed copy of the provision at DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation. (xi) FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii) The contractor shall extend to the Government their standard warranty offered in similar types of sales. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Governments right with regard to the other terms and conditions of the contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty.
