- Description
- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to remove existing overhead bridge crane, hoist, trolley and rail beams. Remove existing overhead trolley beam and hoist. Provide and install a new replacement three ton capacity under running single girder overhead bridge crane. Provide and install new structural steel rails and supports for the new bridge crane. Provide new electrical power for the new bridge crane. Raise overhead lights. Provide a unit price for removal of construction equipment and for a partial demob in hangar 49. Provide a unit price per day for work crew down time ? based on one week of downtime. Work to be performed at USCG Support Center Elizabeth City, NC. The NAICS is 235950 (SIC Code 1796) size standard $11.5M. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. However, FAR Clause 52.219-23 Notice of Price Adjustment for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns and 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation for HUBZone Small Business Concerns may be applicable (This clause allows a price adjustment factor for small disadvantaged business concerns. SIC Codes and their appropriate regions for the SDB adjustments can be found at www.arnet.gov/References/sdbadjustments.htm.) The estimated range is $100K - $250K. Period of Performance ? 120 calendar days from NTP. The Bid Opening will be o/a 09/03/02. NOTICE TO BIDDERS - Funds are not currently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the bid opening date.
