- Description
- This project shall include but not be limited to the following: Repair Sewage Lift Station. Construct a new 10MGD sewage lift station at Travis AFB, CA. The project includes a below wet well with four sewage pumps and comminutor, pump control system connected to the base SCADA system, a 200 kW generator with automatic transfer switch, a 12 kVA transformer, sewage diversion structure and associated valves, piping and equipment. The project includes lead and asbestos remediation and demolition of the existing sewage lift station after the new lift station is operational. This acquisition falls under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 221320 (Sewer Systems). The above description of work is for general information only. It is not intended to describe every feature of items of work or to define the scope of work. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The proposed RFP will be FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION if we don?t receive HUBZone participants. Price Preference for HubZone procedures will be applied in accordance with FAR PART 19. If you are a certified HUBZone contractor and interested in this requirement contact the base contracting officer listed below and provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA Certification of HUBZone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent, relevant experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles dollar amounts and points of contact with telephone numbers; (d) your available bonding for this project. All the above must be submitted in sufficient detail within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice or the solicitation will be issued unrestricted pursuant to the competitiveness demonstration program. Award will be based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. There will be no public opening. Period of performance is 180 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. While funds are not presently available within Air Mobility Command to fund this project, we anticipate funds will become available by 18 Nov 02. If current fiscal year (FY02) funds become available, contract award will be made no later than 30 Sep 02. If FY 02 funds are not available, this project will be funded with FY 03 funds. We expect to have FY03 funding by 18 Nov 02. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be on or about 09 Sep 02; 3:00 P.M, PST; specific date will be stated in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS), on or about 09 Aug 02, which can be accessed at www.eps.gov. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or unofficial plan holder list. The unofficial plan holder list can also be obtained on the EPS site. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email request for the solicitation package or unofficial plan holder list will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package, and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Prospective offerors that plan to download the solicitation are requested to submit company name, address, including your zip plus four, telephone and fax number, email address, point of contact and size standards to Daniel A.
