Description

NA The work consists of the removal the guard rails on either side of the Herring Run Channel, Herring Run Recreation Area, Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, MA. The guard rail system consists concrete and steel posts spanned by strands of steel cable and run approxima tely 370 feet along the south side of the channel (concrete posts) and approximately 410 feet along the north side (steel posts). Some clearing will be required to facilitate removal operations as the west end of the run terminates in an area overgrown wit h bushes. Once the guard rail system is removed, fencing will be installed. Along the north side, the fencing will consist of 48 inch high black, vinyl coated, chain link fencing. Along the south side, the fencing will be 48 inch high black, wrought iron, ornamental fencing. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will available on or about 31 July 2002. Request for this solicitation may be faxed to (978) 318-8207.
