Description

NA Requirement for award of a firm-fixed-price contract to replace roof at Bldg 5016, Fort McCoy, WI. This project may include, but will not be limited to, removal of existing insulation, stone ballast, cushion board and rubber roofing; provide new EDPM roofi ng system with base; provide new tapered rigid insulation; provide new stone ballast; provide new flashing to waterproof roof edge, parapet wall, and penetrations; and provide new rubber walkway pads. All work is to be performed in accordance with contract documents, specifications, and drawings. Performance time is expected to be 80 days after notice to proceed. Project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment and performance protection will be required after award. The North American Industry Cl assification System (NAICS) code is 235610 with a small business size standard of $12.0 million. Competition is unrestricted. The RFQ will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 31 July 2002. Telephonic, written, faxed, or ele ctronic requests for hard copies of solicitation documents are discouraged. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation, associated documents, and solicitation amendments; contractors will not be direc tly notified of solicitation amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered.
