Description
This requirement is 100% small business set-aside, however if a small business cannot provide the items listed then a large business will be considered. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms has a requirement for the following items: 1 each high resolution continous tone printer, Sterling Diaganostic (AGFA) Model DSI-100 printer, 600 x 6000 dpi resolution, dry ink transfer technology using standard paper, continuous tone grayscale, network interface, upgraded warranty (full unit replacement during repair), estimated cost per grayscale print -$.0.35- 1 each, Ultra High Resolution Camera, Retiga 1350 EX Digital Camera, for live capture and analysis/Latent prints, IEEE 1394 (Firewire) interface, 12-bit digitization @ 1392 X 1040 resolution peltier cooling w/IR filter, binning & region of interest readout, Uses Nikon lenses w/ F/C mount, Qcapture software integrated w/ latent pro, 1 each RGB Liquid Crystal Color Filter module (slider) C to F mount, IIj-Res True RGB color capability for model 1350EX and/or Model 1300 cameras. This award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisitions procedures under FAR subpart 13.5. Offer shall include descriptive literature containing sufficient literature to the extent necessary to allow the government to determine the technical acceptability of specifications. Award will be based on meeting the technical specifications listed above on an all or none basis and the best value to the government. The government may elect to pay a cost premium to select and offer whose ratings on non-cost evaluation factors e.g. technical quality and past performance are superior. A ?premium? is defined as the cost difference between the lower evaluated cost of a technically acceptable offer and a higher price offer deemed to be superior from a technical quality and or past performance stand point. ANY AND ALL INQUIRES ARE TO BE SUBMITTED BY FAX. No solicitation will be issued. Offers shall be submitted to the Bureau of Alcohol Tobbacco and Firearms, 650 Massachusetts Avenue N.W.
