Description

The Air Force intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Beckman Coulter, 250 S. Krammer Blvd, Brea, CA 92822 for services non-personal: to furnish all tools, parts, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to provide immunoassay system analyzer in testing hormones, thyroid, and infectious disease markers to support the 72 Medical Group, Laboratory services. Services are also to include one preventive maintenance call annually in May. The Period of Performance will be 01 October 2002 thru 30 September 07. A Time and materials contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is 8 August 2002. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $6 million.
