- NA THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Sheila Kaylor, RN, Nurse Methods Analyst (706) 787-2019 E MAIL ADDRESS: sheila.kaylor@se.amedd.army.mil DESC: This FEDERAL BUSINESS OOPPORATUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Regions 3 & 4 that include all Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee are in the process of standardizing Sterilization Wraps, to include: Wraps, Tray Filters, Peel-Packs and Rolls, and Sterility Indicators and Tapes. Companies with current Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items ar e eligible to participate in the standardization process. Base company criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must carry a full product line, must provide customer support in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Regions 3 & 4, must provide clinical support, education programs, and utilization reports, must provide company?s return policy, must provide company?s distribution network, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Regions 3 & 4, and must provide electronic and hard-copy of proposed pricing and competitive product cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: All products must be durable and provide reliable performance, must be latex free or provide documentation of latex content, must be compatible with steam, low-temp, and gas sterilization processes. Wraps must provide one-step, double-wrap availability, be resistant to water (liquid) saturation, be available in a variety of sizes, be low linting, and have low fiber memory. Tray Filters must come in a variety of sizes to fit pans/trays, resist water saturation, and be low linting. Peel-Packs/Rolls must be adequately thick for single pouching, offer full range of sizes, provide assurance of seal without difficulty in opening, provide full sterility until compromised, a nd provide sterility indicators compatible with all sterilization processes. Sterility Indicators & Tapes must provide distinct indication of sterility, be stable/resist external chemical changes, and provide products compatible with all sterilization pro cesses. Respondents must address all criteria listed above.
