Description

The Upper Columbia Salmon Clearwater District, Coeur d'Alene Field Office, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is acquiring fuels management services to prepare for prescribed burning operations. The "Treatment Areas" is located on a timber sale area. Logging operations are anticipated to be completed between August 31 and October 31 of 2002. The services in this contract are designed to prepare the project area for prescribed burning and reforestation operations through slashing of brush, shrubs, & excess trees, piling of slash, and construction of firelines. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to perform all work necessary. The work will be performed on Bureau of Land Management lands on the Coeur d'Alene Field Office area. The project area is located approximately 3.5 miles north of Wallace, Idaho. All Work must be completed by July 31, 2003.
