Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13. The Government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, an order to Intellisense Corporation. Item 0001, quantity 1 each, Finite Element Analysis software package for Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS). Specifications: perpetual single license; floating Node license; Imports standard (*.gds) files. This allows Government to import files from existing design and layout programs directly into the MEMS finite element program for further analysis; automatically creates 2-D and 3-D images of structure based upon imported (*.gds) file and imputed process sequence; has material files library containing physical properties of various materials used in MEMS processing. This synopsis incorporates provisions and clauses at FAR 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions - Simplified Acquisitions. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) may be accessed at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. No "Hard Copy" of RFQ will be available. Interested parties may fax quotations to (619) 553-1062 or send via email to Purchasing Agent, Gina Goodman, gina@spawar.navy.mil. Questions regarding this synopsis should be directed to Purchasing Agent via email. Quotations must be received be received on or before COB on the closing date stated above. Numbered Note 22 applies; however, all offers received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) of the date of original synopsis will be considered by the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511 and Size Standard is $21.0M. Offerors must complete and submit with their quote, a copy of FAR 52.219-1 Alt I/II, Small Business Program Representation. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required for all contractors doing business with DOD. Information to register to CCR can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/.
