Description
NA On behalf of the Office of the Army, G3, Army Aviation Training, the Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W) is seeking potential contractors who can support a Flight School Initial Entry Training Course. In an attempt to reduce the Army's requirem ent for non-military aircraft, the option of contracting the first twenty (20) weeks of Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW) training program. The contractor must supply the aircraft, maintenance of the aircraft, simulation, program material, and provide the Army with a student ready to enter the Basic Combat Skills phase of training in their respective advance military aircraft. IERW training consists of two phases. The first is Common Core training, twenty (20) weeks, is for approximately 1200 students per year and will run approximatelyu 24 classes a year with a new class beginning every two weeks. There is a course cirriculum (too large for this notice) available by Email request only. The anticipated performance period is from an award date to the foll owing 60 months. All responsible sources are invited, at no cost or obligation to the Government, to provide technical information for a capability evaluation. Individual responses to this request for information that may contain company proprietary info rmation must be marked accordingly. Such proprietary information will not be released outside the Government. The Government may revise its acquisition strategy and solicitation requirements based upon industry response. The purpose of this request for information is to identify companies with the resources and capabilities to support this training initiative. This Sources Sought shall not be construed as a request for proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract from the results of thi s Sources Sought. There is NO solicitation document. The Government shall not be liable for, or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information identified (e.g., limited and/or restricted rights). Due to stringent timelines and required mail screening at the Pentagon - Email is the preferred medium.
