- NA This is a Solicitation notice for the conversion and construction of C-17 Facilities located at the 172nd Airlift Wing, Thompson Field, Jackson, Mississippi. The project consists of construction of one facility, an addition/renovation of one facility and renovation of one facility. Facility 1: Constructed will be a 19,500 square foot Squadron Operations Facility. Construction will consist of a concrete slab on grade with footings, structural steel framing system, architectural brick veneer, metal stud wi th gypsum non-load bearing walls, single-ply roofing on metal decking. Utilities and support facilities include plumbing, gas-fired heating system, ventilation system, air conditioning, water, electric power, sanitary and storm drainage systems, asphalt p arking, access roadways, concrete curb-and-gutter, an irrigation system and landscaping. Facility 2: Constructed will be a 26,000 square foot addition to an existing aircraft maintenance hangar and renovation to the existing 96,000 square foot hangar, air craft maintenance shops and office areas. Addition will consist of structural steel framing, metal wall panels, and single ply membrane roofing on metal decking. Renovation will consist of demolition of existing non-load bearing walls throughout the fac ility and construction of metal stud with gypsum board and concrete masonry unit walls. Utilities and support facilities include High Expansion Foam Fire Suppression System (HEF) for the Hangar Bay in accordance with ANG ETL 01-01, plumbing, gas-fired he ating system, ventilation system, air conditioning, and electric power. Facility 3: Renovation of approximately 18,000 square feet of an existing facility. Demolition will include removal of existing concrete masonry unit walls and the construction of ne w metal stud with gypsum board and concrete masonry unit walls. Utilities and support facilities include plumbing, gas-fired heating system, ventilation system, and air conditioning. This is an unrestricted procurement. Do not respond to this notice. A solicitation notice will be issued at a later date with more details. Estimated construction range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code in 1542.
