Description
NA Point of Contact ? Susan Weir, 732-427-5722. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for four spare parts of the AN/VVS-2, Driver?s Night Vision Viewer. The parts are the following: Entrance Housing Assembly, 6650-01-346-4603, MIL-PRF-49150, SM-D-771434-2 Lens Barrel Assembly, 5855-01-027-3621, MIL-PRF-49148, SM-D-771334-1 Plate Assembly, 5855-01-122-9416, SM-D-771474-1 Mount Housing Assembly, 5855-01-122-9417, SM-D-771456-1 The government intends to purchase these parts using an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract over a five-year period. The government will guarantee a minimum quantity of 300 ea of NSN 6650-01-346-4603, Entrance Housing Assemblies with a n estimated contract quantity of 2,000 over the five-year period. The Entrance Housing Assembly will have a Coated Optical Coating. For the other three items there is no guaranteed quantity, but the estimated five-year contract quantities are as follows: 200 ea for 5855-01-027-3621, 100 ea for 5855-01-122-9416, and 150 ea for 5855-01-122-9417. The AN/VVS-2 driver?s viewer enables a closed-hatch vehicle to be driven during nighttime conditions without active illumination. The driver?s viewer is a throug h-the-hull/hatch night periscope for armored vehicles. Any interested sources, for any or all of the four parts, must send the following information, NLT 09 August 02, to CECOM IEW/S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-II (Susan Weir), Bldg. 1201, Ft. Monmou th, NJ 07703 (Please identify all NSNs for which there is interest): 1. Identification of the contractor as a Large or a Small Business. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUBZone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. 2. Past Performance for these or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSNs, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contra ct numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. 3. The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. 4. The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item. 5. The contractor shall cite the U.S. Government security level that they currently hold.
