Description
NA Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with the commissary column repairs at building P-10730, Fort Drum, New York. Principle features include: removal of 24 inch diameter brick veneer a round existing steel support columns down to the existing 24 inch square concrete pier foundations; excavation of sidewalk and soil exposing existing concrete pier foundations; provide concrete encapsulation of existing concrete piers and steel columns ext ending approximately 12 inches above the existing sidewalk; provide radial brick veneer columns to match existing; patch removed sidewalk and floor to match existing; remove approximately 375 square foot of main entrance concrete sidewalk with inlaid brick and provide stamped sidewalk to match existing red brick paver and concrete pattern, color and finish; remove approximately 800 square feet of concrete sidewalk and curb adjacent to main entrance and replace with concrete sidewalk tapered from existing si dewalk to pavement without curb in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. This will be a ?Firm Fixed Price Construction? contract. This will be an unrestricted p rocurement issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1006(b)(1), Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The North Atlantic Industrial Code (NAIC) is 235410. This procurement is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about August 2, 2002. The DUE DATE for the quote shall be 15 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum?s Web Page. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder?s Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to quote are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contr acting web page for any/all amendments to the Request for Quote. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the quote to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected.
