Description
NA Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with the replacement, removal and proper disposal of the existing window units on identified family housing buildings, in accordance with the specif ications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. In addition to the window unit itself, existing gypsum board returns located within the framed opening shall be removed, new gypsum board returns will be installed and trim mo lding on the interior. Window shades, insulating blankets, blanket tracks, curtain rods, and travis rods associated with the windows shall be removed and properly disposed of. After removal of the existing window unit, the rough opening shall be framed or shimmed in to allow for the installation of the new window unit. The exterior face of the framed opening shall receive new vinyl trim. Installation of new mini-blinds on the interior of the apartments on each of the new windows ordered is required along wi th the installation of new curtain rods on the interior, above each new window unit. The contract type shall be a Requirements Contract (per FAR subsection 16.503), with Options (per FAR subsection 17.2) with a base year and 2 one year option periods. Est imated value is between $1,000,000 -$5,000,000 (including options). The North American Industrial Classification (NAIC) Code is 233220. This procurement is 100% set-aside for HUBZone concerns under the authority of FAR subpart 19.1305(b). The anticipated i ssue/posting date will be on or about August 12, 2002. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance, posting on Fort Drum's Web page. All responsible sources (HUBZone Concerns) may submit a bid, which will be considered. The sol icitation will be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor th e Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected. The bids must be supplied in hard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic bids will be accepted.
