Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites bids on a contract that provides advance sitework construction for a future Administrative/Visitor Facility that will be located at Deer Run Road in Charlestown, Rhode Island. The work consists of clearing and grubbing, erosion control, site electrical, road base material placement, base course asphalt pavement, drainage swales and stabilization, guardrails, and vegetation in construction area. Additive items include geothermal well drilling, drinking water well drilling. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS/SIC code for this acquisition is 234990. The size standard is $27.5 million. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Issue date will be o/a August 5, 2002. Specifications for this project are available without charge and shall be requested in writing to the above address; Attention: Christopher Murphy, Contracting Officer.
