Description

NA The Optical Science Laboratory at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), within the USGS National Mapping Program, Eastern Region Geographic Science Center, is the only full service laboratory in the Western Hemisphere for the precise calibration of civilian aerial mapping camera systems and lenses used in the aerial mapping programs of all State and Federal agencies. The Orkand Corporation currently has a purchase order with the USGS to provide these services through July 31, 2002. In order to maintain continuity of services, the USGS intends to modify its current purchase order with The Orkand Corporation through September 30, 2002. This modification will increase the simplified acquisition threshold.
