Description

ROOF REPAIRS, BLDG. #314, NCBC GULFPORT MS. Provide and secure all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to provide roof replacement for Building 314. Work includes replacement of gravel surfaced 4 ply built-up roofing, flashings, rigid insulation and adding new metal parapet cap flashing. Work also includes replacement of existing lightning protection system assoicated with roof and flashings. The performance period is 195 calendar days including 15 calendar days for mailing and bonds. This is a firm-fixed-price contract The estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is a TOTAL HUBZONE SET ASIDE IAW FAR 52.219-3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is is 235610 (Roofing, siding, and sheet metal contractors), and the size standard is $12.0 Mil Average Annual Gross Revenue. The contract will be awarded to the firm providing the proposal with the best value to the Government using factors outlined in the solicitaiton: (1) Technical Qualifications, (2) Past Performance, (3) Construction Schedules. Informaton for this requirement and the solicitation package with specifications will be available on or about August 5, 2002. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THE GOVERNMENT WILL ISSUE THIS SOLICITATION THROUGH THE INTERNET. Plans and specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format or compact disk (CDs). Notification of any changes to this solicitation will be made ONLY on the Internet site. Therefore, it is the contractor's responsibility to check the below listed Internet site for any posted changes in this solicitation's plans and specifications. The procurement will be listed under N62467-02-R-5751 at the web site: http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Dounload from the Internet is free of charge; however, the plans and specifications may take time to download. The official plan holders list will be maintained on, and can be printed from this Internet site. All prospective offers must register as plan holders on the Internet site for this project.
