- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female offenders in the Ft. Myers, Florida area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated May 2002. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 90% male and 10% female. The estimated number of inmate dates for services are 26,645 for the base period; 13,764 for option period one; 14,235 for option period two; and 14,600 for option period three. The solicitation will be available on or after August 19, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is October 18, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
