Description

The Federal Correction Complex at Petersburg, Virginia is seeking a Islamic Minister to provide Nation of Islam studies and teachings to the inmate populations at FCC Petersburg Medium and Low Institutions. The Contractor shall provide 2 ea 2 hour sessions per month for a total of 48 sessions ( 24 sessins for the Low and 24 sessions for the Medium Institution). EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: The successful Contractor is required to have documentation or certification of the title "minister" from a recognized body of the Nation of Islam and be found in good standing with the community. He/she must have 2-years experience as a minister and show documentation or letter of reference of conducting group training sessions within the local mosque for over a two year period. GENERAL EXPERIENCE Contractor shall have the following general experience in addition to, or in lieu of a formal education. The Contractor shall have at least 2 years experience working in mosque conducting group studies. The Contractor shall submit documentation, certificate of training, resume and a copy of their certificate of insurance with their bid. The solicitation is scheduled to be released on August 1, 2002 with all bids due by September 5, 2002.
