Description

Provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, tools and other related items for work indicated on the drawings, specified in the summary of work, and required for a complete installation and rehab to the U. S. Coast Guard (UPH) Unaccompanied Personnel Housing at Petersburg, Alaska. The UPH is a two-story dwelling currently consisting of eight bedrooms, with common entry, stairs, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Work includes, but is not limited to removal and replacement of cabinets, countertops, and flooring in kitchen, living room, entry halls, stairs, and bathroom areas, door replacement, and mechancial work, including but not limited to plumbing consisting of removal and replacement of tub surrounds, removal and reinstallation of water closets, lavatories in baths and kitchen sinks. Heating rehab consists of removal and replacement of existing hydronic fin tube radiators, and all associated piping. The performance period is 45 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program, public law 100-656, as implemented by the OFPP Policy Directive and Test Plan dated 8/31/89. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235510 and the applicable size standard is $11.5 million dollars in annual receipt for the past three years. All responsible sources may submit a bid. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be Aug 2, 2002) from the Government-wide Electronic Posting System website (FedBizOpps) at http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on that website. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of bid opening.
