- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to Connect Emergency Generator to Buildings as required by the specifications and drawings at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS), Tuskegee, Alabama. Work involves but is not limited to connecting Building 62 electrical panels to the emergency generator in Building 124, in accordance with the specifications and drawings; installation of emergency generator for Building 90, along with accessories and concrete pad; provide load bank for Building 62 and Building 90 generators. ALL buildings will be occupied during the performance of this work and utility service for the Medical Center must be maintained at all times. Contractor will be required to provide temporary facilities, labor, materials, equipment, connections and utilities to assure uninterrupted services during the performance of this work. ALL work shall be in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation and shall be performed pursuant to all local, state and federal regulations. Pre-Bid site visits are to be arranged with Ms. Bessie Cooper Harris, Project Engineer at (334) 727-0550, Ext. 3969. It is highly recommended that all interested parties contact her to schedule a pre-bid site visit. DO NOT CONTACT THE CONTRACTING OFFICER TO ARRANGE SITE VISITS. Cost range is between $100,000 to $250,000. This procurement is unrestricted pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The applicable NAICS Code is 235310 (Electrical-High Voltage) with a size standard of $12 Million. The solicitation will be ready for download FREE of charge ON/ABOUT 8/2/02. Solicitation must be downloaded from the website listed in this announcement. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED. However, drawings will be issued on a first-come-first-serve basis. Only twenty-five (25) sets will be available.
