- The response date has been extended to 7/29/02. The following questions have been asked: 1. Can you provide pictures and dimensions of the wheel assembly? The wheel/tire assembly has 19 tiebolt holes. The wheel is comprised of two halves. One half is 7.5 inches in height; the other is 8.5 inches in height. The wheel diameter is 23.5 inches, and the tire assembly has approximately 24 inch radius. Pictures will also be posted on this website. 2. Can you elaborate on what "oral procedures" means for this solicitation?Oral procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, basically means that no written solicitation will go out. Quotes will be accepted on company letterhead by fax or e-mail or via telephone. 3. What is the purpose 100 individual programs? What functions will they be required to perform?he purpose of the storage for the 100 individual programs is to save the motions and steps for the programmable, teachable positioner. (This positioner may be used and programmed for other processes.)
