Description
NA This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. No solicitation exist at the present time for disemmination. The Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W), on behalf of the TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), seeks qualified sources to establish and operat e a Managed Health Care Services System that deliver TRICARE prime benefits to eligible beneficiaries in overseas remote locations not covered by existing medical Treatment Facilities. The remote locations consist of about 90 countries in the Europe Region , about 50 countries in the Pacific Region and about 30 countries in the Latin America and Canada Region. The system shall blend many of the features of the stateside TRICARE program while allowing for significant cultural differences. The system must incl ude a credentialed network, no out-of pocket expenses for care to beneficiaries, a referral process, coordination of patient movement, and preventive health services. The scope of care must include medical, dental, inpatient care, laboratory work, medical testing, and other health care services equivalent to those provided under the DoD TRICARE program. The system must also provide urgent and emergency health care services for active duty personnel in a temporarily assigned, deployed, deployed on liberty, o r authorized leave status. The system must also have a billing process that accomodates differences for Navy/Marine Corp processess. The resulting award will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a one year base and four option period s. Interested sources should contact DCC-W, Attention Mr. Jose A.
