Description: NA This will be a requirements contract for the evaluation and repair of three types of dispersive delay lines NSNs 7025-01-092-0834, 7025-01-092-0835, and 7025-01-092-0836 and Army P/Ns MIS-21038-001, 002, and 003. An estimated, thirty (30) of each type of delay line will be repaired each year for the base year and four option years. These services will consist of the contractor doing a diagnostic evaluation to determine needed repairs. The contractor will then provide an estimate to repair the delay lines within 10 days of the receipt of asset and the Government will negotiate a fixed price for the repairs. Delivery will be within 60 days of fixing the price. These assets are parts for the PATRIOT Missile System. The period of performance will begin 10/0 1/02 - 09/30/03 followed by sequential option years. Orders will be issued as requirements materialize. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not c lose prior to the closing date stated above. Destination will be Letterkenny Army Depot. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Govern ment does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified sources. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate w ith a limited number of sources. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firms listed. RFQ will be issued to Micro-Networks Creative Electric Inc., 2 3 N. Division St, Auburn, NY 13021, and Phonon Corporation, 7 Herman Drive, P.O. Box 549, Simsbury, CT 06070-1403.
