Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training System Division (NAWCTSD) announces its intention to place the follow-on Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract (ID/IQC) to the FY2000 Training Systems Contract ID/IQ contract. The Training Systems Contract II Multiple Award ID/IQ will be structured with two Lots. Lot I titled ?Trainer/Training Systems? will provide for the analysis, design, development, integration, delivery, modification and support of training systems to support training. Flight simulators, Modeling and Simulation, and complex maintenance trainers are included along with less complex types of equipment required to support training. Lot II titled ?Technology-based Curricula? will provide for the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, support, maintenance, modification, and management of technology-based training products. Lot II includes Instructional Systems, Human Performance Systems, Job Performance Aids, Curricula (including hardware and software), Computer-based Training, Distributed Learning, Electronic Classrooms, Learning Centers, and Modeling and Simulation. The total ceiling cost for all products procured under the anticipated multiple award ID/IQC is estimated to be $3,000,000,000 covering an eight-year period. The Government contemplates multiple awards of ID/IQ contracts under which Cost-Reimbursement, Time and Material, and Fixed-Price orders may be issued. Orders will be placed competitively in accordance with FAR 16.504 (FAR reference available at http://www.arnet.gov/far/). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for Lot I is 333319 and the respective small business size standard is 500 employees. A draft version of the Request for Proposal will be released on the World Wide Web at http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/EBusiness/BusOps/Index.cfm on or about 31 July 2002. Lot I contract awards are scheduled for June 2003 and Lot II contract awards are scheduled for July 2003.
