- THIS IS A SOLE-SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT. The Government intends to issue a contract to ATAC Corporation of Sunnyvale, CA to conduct noise testing, analysis and upgrade to the Naval Aviation Simulation Model (NASMOD) system that was initially developed by ATAC. The government does not anticipate adequate competition due to the NASMOD tool being proprietary; therefore a sole source award is anticipated. Any inquiries from firms that feel they would meet qualifications for this solicitation are invited to respond to Kimberly Reavis via reaviskl@efdsouth.navfac.navy.mil no later than 2:00pm (Eastern Daylight Time) on Wednesday, 31 July 2002. The contract will be for one base year with four one-year options. The anticipated value of this contract is $5,000,000.00. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised.
