- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Thales Munitronics BV, P.O. Box 6034, 5600 HAEINDHOVEN, The Netherlands, for the deliver of 80 prototype batteries within 5 months of contract award. The batteries shall be similar in design to the Thales Munitronics UA 6275/821 battery but with a higher voltage. The battery is intended for use in the MK 419 MOD 1 Multi Function Fuze and other fuzes for 5? ammunition. The Request for Quotation Number is N00178-02-Q-1037 The NSWCDD, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
