- Description
- The Future Combat Systems (FCS) Lead System Integrator (LSI), Boeing and SAIC, is still accepting unsolicited proposals. With one exception, the solicitations posted earlier this year with a response date of 15 April 2002, are now closed. A revision is being posted to Broad Industry Announcement (BIA) # 16420; the website http://boeing.com/fcs will specify the due date for industry responses. Another round of BIAs (Phase 2) will be issued approximately 01 August 2002, to solicit industry participation with refinement of system/subsystem concepts, common interfaces and specifications. Terms and Conditions and other information will be issued prior to the posting of Phase 2, BIAs. Industry Day for Future Combat Systems, Phase 2 Broad Industry Announcement hosted by the LSI, will be held in Irvine, CA, on 01 August 2002. Boeing will be maintaining and updating/upgrading the Website http://boeing.com/fcs throughout its life in order to provide the most current information.
