Description

NA The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to solicit only one source, Refraction Technology, Inc. 2626 Lombardy Lane, Suite 105, Dallas, Texas, 75220 for a Firm Fixed Price Supply requirement to purchase a quantity of 6 SISMC Broadband Seismic Rec orders, Model 13-01/6 with GPS receiver, 1G 130-Microdrive Disk kit and cables to include a 130-transit case and a 130-drivecase. Delivery will be at FOB Destination to Defense Threat Reduction Agency/TDTPI, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117-5669. The required Deli very Date is 30 September 2002. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures (SAP). The Broadband Seismic Recorders must be 100% compatible with the existing 24-bit digital seismic recorders, model 72A-07. Although thi s is a sole source procurement, interested vendors must provide descriptive literature which clearly demonstrates that the proposed items meet all/each of the requirements contained herein, within fifteen (15) days after date of this publication, 2 August 2002. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotes. Documentation, qualifications, and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Governm ent not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
