- This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial items (non-personal services) issued by the 509th Contracting Squadron, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. This document was prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This electronic solicitation is the only solicitation being issued, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Solicitation Number is F23606-02-Q-0006. The NAICS code 532112 applies to this solicitation. The small business size standard is $21.5 million dollars. The item description is as follows: Line Item #0001 Provide all labor, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to provide a quantity of five (5), Four-wheel drive, four-door Sport Utility Vehicles and four (4) Full size, four door, Two-wheel drive, Pickup trucks from 01 August 2002 through 30 September 2002. Line Item #0002, provide same vehicles as listed in Line Item #0001 from 01 October 2002 through 31 July 2003. The award of line item #0002 of this solicitation is based upon the availability of funds for the next fiscal year. Contractor shall provide all maintenance for leased vehicles which shall include, but not limited to, periodic oil changes and tire rotations. Contractor shall be responsible for all mechanical repairs not caused by Government neglect or abuse. If mechanical repairs are required that exceed forty eight (48) hours, the contractor shall provide a equivalent vehicle to the Government for the duration of the repairs at no additional cost to the government. The Government estimates vehicle usage to be 3,000 miles per month. All vehicles provided by the contractor will be equipped with air conditioning and be of conservative exterior color such as blue, red, white, silver or black. Offerors are instructed this solicitation is an all or nothing, no split orders will be awarded. The Government reserves the right to award this purchase order on a best value basis.
