Description

The USCG MLCP in Alameda, CA, proposes to contract for the Dockside Repair of the USCGC KUKUI (WLB 203), which is geographically restricted to the cutter's homeport at Coast Guard Integrated Support Command (ISC) Honolulu, Honolulu, Hawaii. Performance is expected to commence on 7 January 2003 and complete no later than 28 February 2003. The repair anticipated involves the following work items: Production Control, Gantt Bar Chart; Clean and Inspect MP Fuel Stowage and Overflow Tanks and Ballast Tanks; Clean and Inspect Voids (Accessible); Spilled Oil Recovery System Modification, Phase I and Phase II; Cofferdam Sounding Tube Piping Replacement; Main Diesel Engine and Ships Service Diesel Generator Plenum Chamber and Intake Air Ducting Repairs; Spilled Oil Recovery System Pump Room Piping Removal; Boat Cradle Mods and Dual Davit Installation; Cargo Hatch Replacement; Port lights and Miscellaneous Closures, Repair; Provide Temporary Services, Dockside. On or about 12 August 2002, a Request for Proposal will be issued in accordance with Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program (SBCDP). Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
