- NA The work of this project consists of maintenance dredging of the Federal Navigation channels and anchorage areas at Belfast Harbor, Camden Harbor, Rockland Harborr, and a portion of the Union River, Maine. A total of approximately 177,000 cubic yards of m aterail will be dredged. The dredge material shall be removed using a mechanical dredge and scows. All material dredged from Belfast Harbor, Camden Harbor, and Rockland Harbor shall be disposed of at the Rockland Disposal Site. Disposal of dredged mater ail from the Union River shall be at a specified point at the Union River bay Disposal Site west of Tuppers Ledge, approximately 1.2 miles from the mouth of the federal channel. Offerers will be permitted to bid on any of three Bidding Schedules. Bidding Schedule No. 1 will include Belfast Harbor and union River dredging projects. Bidding Schedule No. 2 will include the Rockalnd and Camden Harbor dredging projects. Bidding Schedule No. 3 will include the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each of the Schedules No. 1 determined to be most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation shall be made available on or about 6 August 2002. The estimated amount of the work is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. The applicable NAICS code for this is 234990 with a Small Business Size Standard $28,500,000.00. This procurements is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
