The government cannot guarantee a bidder will be added to the bidders list if registration is not confirmed via email or fax. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The work will consist of dredging of navigation channels at port, recreation, and navigation lock facilities at 8 sites on the Snake and Clearwater rivers. Dredging will be by clamshell, backhoe, or dragline. Total volume of dredged material for all eight sites is approximat ely 280,000 cubic yards. Disposal will be at one of two alternate sites: (1) in-water disposal at River Mile 116, or (2) in-water disposal at Chief Timothy Habitat Management Unit, River Mile 132, for development of woody riparian habitat. ADMIN INFO: The estimated cost range for this job is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1629 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990. The small business size standard is averag e annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $17,000,000. If a large business is selected for this contract it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on that portion of the work it intend s to subcontract. The intended subcontracting goals are that a minimum of 61.4% of the contractor?s intended subcontract amount be placed with small businesses including 9.1% with small disadvantaged businesses. The plan must contain a goal of 5.0% with women-owned small businesses and 2.5% with historically underutilized businesses (HUBZone). The plan is not required with the submittal of a bid. All responsible business sources may submit an offer, which may be considered.
