Description
Please add the additional Seasonal Statement of work to the previous notice. Please note the change in response date also. STATEMENT OF WORK LCM-8 Landing Craft (Storage) Seasonal Storage and Repairs The contractor/vendor is to furnish all tools, labor materials, equipment and transportation to accomplish the work. Vendor shall field verify all (if any) dimensions provided by the government. Contractor and government representatives will perform inspection on and off water. Identify damages and note findings in an inspection report during turn-over of the vessels. Copies of this report shall be provided to Contracting. The three (3) LCM-8?s are located in Ketchikan, Alaska. Weight: 105 tons, Height: 20 ft; Length: 74ft (Each) Item Description QTY Unit Unit Price Total Cost 0001 Lift/Launch and block for dry storage. Vendor shall provide services to lift and launch three (3) LCM-8 landing craft onto dry land. 74ft x ___ per foot per vessel) 1 EA $__________ $____________ 0002 Blocking 2 hrs x $___ per vessel. 1 EA $__________ $____________ 0003 Wet/dry storage for LCM-8 landing craft. Vendor shall provide the protected storage of the vessels for the duration of the lay-up. (First vessel on or about 15 Sept 02, final vessel on or about 22 Sept 02 through no later than 01 Apr 02) Payment will be based upon date of receipt of vessels and prorated based on monthly rate. The delivery and redelivery shall occur at vendor?s facility in the water. Cost per LCM-8/ Daily average rate is $_________. 1 MO 0004 Vessel security and winterization inspection. LCM-8 need to be secured (locked) and access will be authorized to government representatives upon notification to the contractor without additional charges. This specification shall include pierside/land, electrical hookup, and weekly inspection. Vessel engines will be started on a weekly interval and warmed to operating temperature IAW Detroit Tech Manual 12V71. Portable heaters and locks will be provided by the government.
